An Award For Blogging

My special thanks to Annette for deeming me worthy of receiving this award for my blogging. I am immensely flattered and most grateful to you Annie! It is the first formal recognition I have received of any kind in blogosphere, so it is very special. I have always thought my blog was rather mundane compared to several very humorous and informative blogs which I follow; therefore, it is most reassuring to know that someone, somewhere, actually enjoys reading my postings!

In accordance with the rules I must answer the question as to why I enjoy blogging. Put simply, it is a fascinating hobby and provides me with an opportunity to communicate my opinions and views to others with whom I might otherwise never come into any form of contact, equally of course, vice versa! I started this blog in November 2006 and have been an avid blogger ever since.

You can access Annette's blog by the live link provided in the left hand column of this page.

Hi David,
Thankyou for that and sorry I got your link wrong, typical, LOL.
I have corrected now.
I don't think your blogs are mundane at all! They are interesting and yes, you have a good sense of humour. I laughed when I read about the blog 'grandma had such a happy childhood.'
It reminds me of when geoff tells me what his mother used to use on them when they had colds/flu.
Grease fat on their chests, bread and milk. YUK!!
You have a good blog site, I really enjoy it.
Thankyou.
